Old Road Wine Co. approached us in mid-2018 to manufacture signage for their new venue in the beautiful Franschhoek valley.
Many of the signage elements had been designed (by DHQ Interior Brand Architects) from a visual aspect. It was up to figure out how we could achieve the look and feel that they were after within budget, and on time.
Their look can be described as chic industrial, and the signage needed to suite.
Exterior signs were manufactured from mild steel allowed to rust naturally. Interior signs were all black and copper coated steel.
The pizza oven (named “Nonna”) is covered with copper 5c coins, and grouted.
